Artist application guidelines
✧ Portfolios must include at least 3 examples of your work
✧ At least one Genshin related piece is required
✧ Acceptable forms of portfolios include but are not limited to: Google Drive folder, Twitter moment, Instagram, Carrd, Artstation, etc.
✧ If you are applying for merch artist, please include examples/images of your previous merch
✧ Artists may apply for both merch and illustration positions
✧ NSFW examples are allowed as long they are properly tagged
Writer application guidelines
✧ Must include at least 2 excerpts of your work
✧ Excerpts should be 300 to 500 words long
✧ Links to full fics/Ao3/portfolios may be included
✧ At least one Genshin related fic is required
✧ NSFW works are allowed as long as they are properly tagged
Pitch guideline
✧ At least 2 pitches are required for all applications
✧ MUST include the character/characters AND the flower/flowers you want in your piece
✧ Flower choice may be vague if multiple flowers are involved, like in a bouquet
✧ Pitches may be brief or detailed and may be changed after acceptance
Examples of acceptable pitches
✧ Sucrose experimenting with Sweet flowers
✧ Venti with a bouquet of Cecilias, Dandelions, and Windwheel Asters.
✧ Ganyu sleeping in a field of colorful, miscellaneous flowers.

What is a zine?
A zine is short for 'magazine'. It is a fanmade project that includes a book of fanworks and fan-created merchandise.

Is this zine for-profit or non-profit?
This zine will be for profit! Each contributor will receive a cut of the profit earned from zine sales.

Is the zine physical or digital?
The zine will be both digital and physical.

Is there a specific theme?
The theme for this zine is "Flowers"! Both in-game flowers and real flowers are welcome! Interpretation of the theme is up to the contributor's creative freedom.

Are ships allowed in this zine?
As a general Genshin zine, implied ships should be kept to a minimum and there should be no explicit ships.

What characters are allowed in this zine?
All currently released or officially announced characters by the time of final submission are allowed to be represented in pieces.

Are AUs allowed?
fleurette will be a canonverse zine! All works should be based around the canon setting.

Will there be international shipping?
Yes, international shipping will be available! Some restrictions may apply based on country.

Will contributors get a copy?
Our goal is to provide everyone a full bundle copy with shipping costs covered. Profits earned from sales will be used first to provide all contributors with a full bundle including the physical book and all merch. For starters we will provide a digital copy until this goal is reached!

What are the guidelines for contributors?
A full contributor guideline including illustration templates and all relevant information will be provided at a future date.

WIll the zine be sfw?
The zine will be 100% sfw. The overall rating should be PG and creators are free to ask about content if they are unsure.

Do I need zine experience to apply?
No experience required! Our mods include experienced contributors and we will help you through every step with guidelines and templates.

What are the requirements for contributing artists?
Full color, CMYK color mode at 300dpi, with templates provided.
--
What are the requirements for contributing writers?
PG13 overall rating. 2k expected word count within a 1.5k to 2.5k range.

How old do I need to be to apply?
Applicants must be at least 16 to apply. Minors require explicit parental permission to apply/contribute and must have permission to use PayPal to receive contributor cuts.
